HATE PROFANITY AND POP CULTURE REFERENCES? THEN WE ARE NOT THE DROIDS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.
Thanks for looking up our ‘dress and stopping by to sneak a peek.
You didn’t like what you saw; you’re not about that life. We get it. No hard feelings—it’s not you, it’s us.
There are literally hundreds of other blogs out there on the ol’ interwebs—some very well-written, informative, and beautiful blogs authored by caregivers with many more years of experience in both special needs parenting and in writing, blogs that take a more serious and professional approach to the subject matter. We know—we’re all over those, too. When we’re in their houses, we try to behave ourselves.
But in the house of bubbles and chaos…
we appreciate the cathartic power of a well-placed expletive; it’s actually super-great for your little mind and body (seriously, studies have been done, guys, and I might get around to linking to some of them in case anybody’s interested in the science behind it).
We’re lovers of communication
and we encourage our peeps to engage with us as a community without feeling judged (take note, though, that VERBALLY BASHING or TEARING DOWN your fellow Bubble Blowers, Chaos Mongers, & FamFans WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, and neither will spam–the junk kind, not the canned meaty kind; we definitely dig THAT greatness. Feel free to send us cans of Spam anytime).
still with us?
Since you’re still reading, I’m going to assume that’s a yes. And that’s awesome.
In that case…
Honestly, we’re not going to go out of our way to drop a bunch of F-bombs or whatever all over the place, and, in fact, our Creative Editor/Owner may do some light censoring on some of the more colorful language used around here from time to time in the interests of good taste (but we shall see). Overall, we just want to make it clear that it’s likely to happen.
Consider yourselves warned.
