“It started out with a kiss. How did it end up like this?”

Today the Supernatural Family flocked to Twitter to celebrate #TenYearsOfCrowley (hashtag courtesy of the ever-fabulous Natalie Peachey), and the outpouring of love was fucking beautiful. So much love.

You didn’t really think I was going to let it slide by without doing a little something here on the site to honor the anniversary of the introduction of one of my favorite fictional anti-heroes, did you?

I’m late to the gate, as usual, but I showed up.

Oh, yes.

Although “Abandon All Hope,” Supernatural’s 10th episode of its 5th season, debuted on November 19th, 2009, I didn’t catch it until roundabouts a year later (guesstimated on the timeframe). And on that day, the day I met the King of the Crossroads, my life would never be the same. That’s a much longer, much…weirder…story, though, that I’ll save for another time (but it’s been a fun one).

For now, I’ll keep it short and to the point (I’ve been staring at this computer screen for hours today, and my eyes are FEELING it):

Hail to the King

I have so much love for the Creatives who romanced that character into existence, especially Mark Sheppard—miss you on Supernatural, Dude (but I’m LOVING me some Kipling, trust that).

So many positives have kicked off for me since that day. Professionally. Personally. And when I start pulling at threads, a good number of them wind their way back to the Crowley/Sheppard connection. It’s been truly awesome in the most traditional sense of the word.

Thank you.

    • Thank you, home-skillet. ? I had fun throwing it together. You may have picked up on that vibe from my many fb messages yesterday. Possibly.

I feel another class sign-up is on the horizon. ?
